Virtual Discussion Groups

Looking to have meaningful conversations with seniors? We hope to host further discussions focused on bridging UCSD students and older adults.

 

In August 2020, we launched the first round of discussions and it was a very enriching experience, both for the students and for the older adults who attended. This was in partnership with the San Diego County Health and Human Services. 

On January 21st, 2021, we held an event jointly administered by iLead, Change Maker UCSD, and MLK Jr. Week of Service. This virtual discussion group discussed altruism, community service, and how these two things have changed over the years.
